These officer are paid by the people and need to serve the people. allowing animals to escape from the facility and be killed by traffic
is not serving the people .. Do not allow your pet to stay over night in this shelter it's not secure your animals could escape and be struck..as was my friends .. they hide behind the excuse there only 2 of them working the county..
GOD please someone put a rating system with negative stars so i can provide the community with a accurate rating!
I called them a few months ago and it took them about 30 minutes or so to call me back. I told them a small, stray dog was in my yard and they asked me if I had a animal carrier to put the dog in so they could pick it up! My first thought was "That's YOUR job to catch the animal, not mine." They are absolutely no help. I refuse to call them anymore. Why would they expect me to have an extra carrier lying around?
PS i dont give a crap about any bleeding heart story. put your big boy pants on and man up.

Well 3 calls with messages and NO they DO NOT return calls. The shelter also refuses to accept ANY animals except the ones Animal control brings. HEY here are my tax dollars not at work huh. As for the guy saying good job and quoting numbers. I say you MUST work for them they are horrible. Its kinda like Bledsoe county that doesnt have a animal control. only difference is they also dont have to pay for one. I gotta say i am really impressed with their monumental innefficency. I mean between the animal shelter not taking animals (yes thats not a typo) and the animal control not actually existing i would like to know why im paying taxes for it. NOW THERES SOMETHING to ask the Cumberland county ACO.
Bottom line ... either do your job or find someone who will do your job for you.
