Excellent FooD & Friendly Service. Would definitely eat there again & highly recommend to others. My 8yr old daughter says "it's better than AWSOME" :)

Salad bar items were not set up on buffet, just sitting out on a side table for more than 1.5 hours, no ice. Who knows how long they had been sitting out before we got there. Does the local health department check on bad food prep practices like this? Hope no one gets sick.

Once hot food was served, we had no silverware, so another few minutes wait since we had to wait for it. Food was decent, but the wait made this an unpleasant experience.

Walked right in and sat down very friendly staff this place is cozy nothing fancy. Fast delivery of the food. The catfish was large pieces and lots of fixings. Good price for all we got. We will be back.

Went for a late lunch around 3:15 on a Saturday. Waitress was nice but frazzled as she was the ONLY ONE. Only 2 other tables had people at them, yet it was 10 minutes before she brought a menu, 8 more minutes before she came to get our drink and food order, 6 more minutes before she brought our drinks along with the hush puppies, cole slaw, onions, and pot o’ beans they serve, and 26 more minutes before our catfish plates were served. So, yes, 50 minutes before we got our meals. (Not counting the 10 minutes we stood at the door because there was no sign to seat yourself or wait and no personnel in the seating area. Another patron told us to go ahead and pick out a table and someone would get to us eventually.)

Great little place to eat. Good catfish and frog legs. Very good service

My wife, her sister and I were in town for a family reunion and stopped in for dinner, as a suggestion from someone who lives in the area, and boy were we surprised . This place was FABULOUS! From the moment we sat down the staff made us feel welcomed and immediately brought us some soup beans, or bean soup if your from southwest Detroit like me and hush puppies. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the wonderful home cooked appetizers and then the dinner! Everything was so delicious! My wife and I had the catfish that literally will melt in your mouth and my sister in law had the country fried steak! From the moment we walked in, to the last bite we were so impressed! More restaurants should take a lesson from the Catfish Cabin! We would recommend the food to anyone, whether you like fish or not! My wife doesn't even eat fish and loved her catfish dinner! Love the Catfish Cabin and we will definitely go back!
