I consider this place very over priced and if you are a woman you can forget about being helped in the gun/hunting department. Every time I've gone in there because of a sale I get over looked or literally pushed to the side so the employee can help a man. They have quite literally lost hundreds of my dollars because I would rather pay a little more somewhere else and get treated with respect than give my money to a company that doesn't stress it to their employees. This had happened in every Dunhams I have been in, not just the one in Crossville, TN
Poor managment couldn't answer questions about a gun I was wanting to buy. Won't be getting my business no more.
Nice selection on sporting good clothes but you better hope you don't have a question or need to make a return because they have the worst customer service I have seen in years I recommend never shop at this store you be better ordering from the internet an if you do shop hopefully the manger Tyler isn't there if you have a question he will be little you an treat you like your a idiot for even asking a question.
Being a former sales associate for dunham's I can tell you that my 2+ years spent hear was an awful experience. The management was not only awful to there customers they was awful to there employees too , Picking favorites, talking bad about one employee to another employee, giving there favorites 30+ hours a week and there not so favorites anything from 5 to 10 hours a week not mentioning the pay was $7.25 an hour with only a yearly raise that's based on your working skills and how much you put into working. For me I started out at $7.25 and as of being there 2 + years I ended my job with the pay of $7.45 why? cause i worked my butt off every day I was there but nobody noticed, I not only did my job but everyone else's including some of the jobs the managers was supposed to do, it was like i was the only one working while everyone else goofed off in the office or in the warehouse this included the managers, but in all as this was my first job the only good part about it was the friends i made with the many many employees that was in and out of there within a month. now that i'm no longer an employee for this dunhmas in crossville ive still yet to find another job and its been 5 months yes ive been looking for jobs, ive had some interviews but they quit having anything to do with me once they call dunhams and ask about me. So thank you dunhams for hating me soooo much that you have to lie. would I recommend shopping here? honestly...No, not till Tyler and Tammy the managers are replaced with better and the store is doing good. would i recommend working here? again honestly... No not unless you want it to be your last job or you just want something to keep you busy. There is so much more i could say about this place and the people in it but this will have to do for now.
