Great location near a lot of hiking and other fun recreational activities. Golf course was pretty nice. Good place for the family.
Cons:They a need a serious upgrade. Very outdated. Doors falling apart etc. Plus not much of a washer and dryer to speak of. Gym is outdated they do have an elliptical machine so I guess they did add something since the 80s Pros: There is a good wishy wash place in town though big and clean. Nice big playground to me this is where outdated is ok. Nice big steel merry go round. Swings etc. Love the beach access to lake very clean pools. Golf course nice and clean. Clean mini golf. Not much of one but there are two. Great family place to swim fish (Pontoon rentals clean boats) play golf. Other than that not much else to do. Restaurants here are not that great.
I had a great stay. Really large accommodations, completely supplied. A little dated but I have stayed in much worse for way higher cost.
These places are dumps, dirty run down. No screens on the doors, fan in the bathroom doesn't work, and why would it, it only has about 40 years worth of gunk built up in it. Decks are rotting and falling apart. They charged a special assessment fee last year they said was needed to repair the rotting decks, and other repairs. I think they pocketed the money. I think the timeshare owners should file suit against this company.
We own a week at Lake Tansi. The staff was so friendly. Katrenia the Office Manager went out of her way to make us feel at home. She was able to get us a really good deal on another timeshare week. The area is full of things to do and see. We love it here as everyone makes us feel at home. Gayle, Katrenia, and Alan always make our stays awesome.
