I am sadly disappointed in LaQuinta for even associating with this property.
This place BLOWS!!!! Do NOT waste your money here. I am staying in the room right now and am not entirely sure I haven't already contracted hepatitis or something. There is a blood stain on the wall next to the bed, there is dog hair on the bed from the previous guest. The smell is revolting, the A/C on its highest setting wouldn't upset a bed of leaves and the toilet paper must have been recycled from old newspaper. I am pretty sure I saw "Sept, 15 1945" printed across the paper. The LaQuinta I stayed at last night in Bryant AR, was a PALACE compared to this pile of rusted forks. The price here is terrible too. 90 bucks! The one in Bryant had 9' ceilings, crown molding, and a 40" flat screen TV and only cost $70 for the night.
#2 - Every motel is required to have a little sign on the room door that has a map and tells you checkout time etc.. The checkout time said 12:00 noon, we received phone call from a Middle Eastern lady who sounded angry and wanted us out immediately, what? I explained the sign, she said that it was from the old owner and they did not change it yet, that is not my problem I said.
The only reason I haven't walked out is because it is late and I am in desperate need of sleep. Needless to say I wont be eating their continental breakfast.
Seems a little steep at first but it's well worth it overall. The others in town just blow. Counter service is fabulous! Room was clean and did not smell, which is a must for me. Pristine bathroom, great water pressure, wonderful ameneties. They offer a great pool, satellite t.v., a wonderful breakfast bar, a business center and CHEAP coin op laundry. CDL discounts! Yea! Smoking and non-smoking, pet rooms and 24 hour coffee in the lobby. Loved the attention of the owner and his wife! Try it and you'll hesitate to go anywhere else!
Anyway, this RAJ guy who says he is a manager (I think he is the owner) is arguing with me about my simple mistake that did nothing to cause him any extra work or loose any money. They hardly speak English, I believe they are from somewhere in the Mid East, they had a very strong accent. Just stay away from this guy and his overpriced motel at all costs, he is rude and will rip you off the first chance he gets. I even called LaQuinta and they told me to talk to him, I will never stay at this crappy chain again!!
#3 - The furniture was scratched up and mis-matched, the caulk around the tub was crappy looking and moldy, the tile floor was beat up and worn down, it is not what you expect to see when you pay $91.79 a night in Crossville, TN., am I right? All around the area are places for $40, that would be the correct price for this place.
#1 - I made a reservation online and made a mistake with the date. I meant to put down Friday, not Thursday. Even after I stayed Friday they would not refund my money for Thursday. This is Crossville not Orlando mind you, the night we stayed there were 6 cars in the lot. My mistake caused absolutely no problems at all and he still insisted on charging me for the mistake, come on!
Place is great if you are into cold showers in the morning and brown water. I really have a problem with all of this so bad rating. Rooms were clean and the indoor pool and hot tub were nice. Still can't get past the cold shower and brown water.
