Hungry as bears, we rode by and saw 'home cooking' and whipped right into the humble parking lot of an older and modest building to give it a try.

Great western omelet. Best home fries in town.

We paid 12.00 for all of this feast w/ two pieces of homemade pie to go for later!

Great down home cooking.

We had a plate full of chicken/dressing, fried okra, greens w/pepper vinegar, basketful of cat head buscuits and cornbread to boot. The bill was dropped off without our knowledge because we were so enthralled with our meal.

Stopped in for a quick breakfast. Crossville is a quaint stop with Main Street keeping up it's historical appeal with antique shops and stores. Sisters is just off the Main with plenty of parking. It definitely has not had any updates to its decor. It feels like a time jump with worn out booths etc. I was a bit apprehensive about eating here. The menu has a good selection for breakfast in Southern comfort foods. We got the special, added eggs and a pancake. Two people ate and had a coffee and I a Pepsi. Our bill was just at ten dollars. The biscuits were awesome, sausage and gravy were not as good as mine but good for restaurant gravy. Fried eggs were cooked great as ordered. The only thing that we would not order again is the pancakes. While plated they looked great, large in size and fluffy. Dry, and way too heavy. One jar of syrup literally soaked into the pancakes..still dry! I would not go out of my way too eat here..but in Crossville it is a great deal and plenty of food...diner style.

Anyone who gives a negative review doesn't know the meaning of down South eating!

We are highly excited about our first, but not last meal in this low key although amazing home cooking establishment.

Have always had the best food and service here. Highly recommended!

Lo and behold, we ordered one of the choices on the weekday specials and it was brought out with speed, smiles, and scents of my Grandma's kitchen. We ate without speaking after we give thanks to God of course.

We have found our new 'go to' spot for southern home cooking!

Thank you 'Sisters'; you have brought our childhood back to us through our tummies!
