The truck came yesterday and the guys went to work. While they worked on blowing material into the attic, I added blocking to my horizonal wall framing so that the 7" of cellulose would stay put. It was not their easiest job, but by the end of the day, I had an extremely well-insulated shop. And the final price was very close to what I was quoted. I would recommend this company to others.
I owned my own cleaning business for 34 year prior to retiring here in Crossville. I know how to do business and how to treat people especially other contractors. When you clean toilets for a living you get looked down upon a lot. I called this business on Saturday 11/11/17… The contractors wife answered and took my info. She said he will be calling back. I said when. Probably not today and certainly not Sunday so probably Monday. Tues I called.. his wife answered again. I introduced myself and said I was just making sure I didn't get lost in the shuffle. She said she had my info and he usually calls in the afternoon or evening. Well it's Thursday 1:30 pm. Nothing. Yesterday I had had enough. I called Say Heating and Cooling formerly Isles H& C. I use them. Great group of guys. Good people usually know good people. John the Owner recommend Smith Insulation. I said " so you think they are good" He said"I KNOW they are good". Called Smith spoke with a nice woman who said he will be getting back. A few hours later I got a call from the same woman. Next Tuesday @ 11am. for an estimate. Cool! ////////Hey I get it. Things are more laid back down here. Why do ya think we moved here? But business is business. You don't blow people off. You just have to call and waste 30 seconds and say you cannot take the job. Thanks for considering my company. Done. Live as brothers do business as srangers. Some are in business but do not know how to do business.
